ABOUT

A DIVA IS BORN

Back at the tender age of 19 Kennidi, was a small town boy living in the big city of Houston for the first time. She had wondered into a club with her boyfriend and friends, on the west side of Houston called Toyz Disco; a latin dance club. They went in to find a drag show going on, she was amazed when she seen this beautiful lady come out and perform. To her amazement and surprise that was man, and she was shocked! She couldn’t keep her eyes off her and for the rest of the night, deep inside she felt that the confusion she had been dealing with in head just was solved. She had seen a person that she felt connected to because she felt like that was suppose to be her. That lovely lady/entertainer was ERICA ANDREWS. After the show Kennidi met Erica backstage and asked a few questions, to her surprise she was very nice and down to earth to her. Kennidi asked Erica how she could be an entertainer and Erica invited her back the following week to perform as a guest. From then on Kennidi was hooked, and went on to entertain for 7 plus years. Not to long after she had her first opportunity to be Kennidi on stage she was offered to enter a pageant called Miss Gay Teen Universe. Where she competed with future friend Trecina St. James. Trecina won but Kennidi took home the title of Miss Gay Teen USA. Later on was given the title Miss Gay Teen Universe…also winning Miss Gay Mid South Universe, and Miss Galveston Continental Plus. While in Houston she spent four years at EJs Houston with Roxanne Collins, the were her support. Throughout the years she had many people help her on her way besides Erica Andrews, Roxanne Collins, Kelly Lauren, TC Houston, Raven St. James, Miss Birdie, Maryssa Raye, C.C. Ryder, Monique, Monica Munro, Angelique Munro, Reina Valentino, and many more! She thanks them all!

At the age of 22, Kennidi started hormone replacement therapy and went back to school for cosmetology. A year later she graduated and moved to the Windy city of Chicago. Where she transitioned as a full time transsexual. While trying to expand her career as an entertainer in Chi-town she was very pleased when asked to grace the cover of LadyLike magazine and later on becoming a featured columnist for GirlTalk Magazine, now known as TG Life. After two years of living it up in Chi-town Kennidi decide to take a break from drag and entertaining to pursue her dreams of Modeling and writing. Also to focus on her daytime job and love life. But she couldn’t stay away from the stage too long!

In May of 2008 Kennidi went into the studios to record her first ever dance album, FOR. and in July she had a chart topping hit with Voluptuous Diva. Then in December her second single off her album SK’N was released with tons of excitement. But with different artistic views Kennidi parted ways with producer and in 2010 started recording her debut album Yesterday.  Slated to drop in May 2010. Her first single Fierce Beat Face out in February 2010 and SickOning to follow! With possible tour this summer!
